Guillermo Del Toro is a passionate man and leader that has influenced me tremendously. As a person, with my work ethic, as a producer of different projects, and as an artist. This is my tribute to him in the "Dia de Muertos" fashion for the Autumn Society's THE ICONOCLASTIC DEAD show in Guru Gallery this Saturday, October 1st (Mexico City).
I will be flying out for the event, and am very excited to be part of our new and latest branch, Autumn Society Mexico (with German Orozco, Jorsh Pena, Rosario Ruiz, and Anita Mejia). Until we meet again and updates soon! "HASTA LA VICTORIA SIEMPRE!"

These were tough to do...not by execution, but by idea. I came up with 3
different sets of ideas and ultimately this is the route I decided to
go. All three of these movies represent a very special time in my life.
They all have adventure, comedy, warmth, and some form of weird creature
/ monster. Watching these movies was like eating a good piece of candy,
so I wanted them to be bright and represent that sweetness and pop. I
also wanted them to compliment each other, so I used Black as the base and then Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow
for the rest. Putting together and participating in this show has been
quite an amazing and unforgettable experience. Can't wait to be consumed
by the amazing art and nostalgia this Friday night!

My Dia de los Muertos piece is a tribute to one of the best Luchadores of all time, el Toro Rojo! Sadly, Rojo had his last fight in 1984. Viva El Toro Rojo!

This week the Autumn Society will celebrate Halloween with a limited two day Art Show, only at Brave New Worlds! There will be original / spooky Halloween artwork, candy, and more! ADVENTURE TIME @ NUCLEUS - A SMASH HIT!!!
Well, as many of you know an Adventure Time Crew Art show premiered @ Gallery Nucleus this Saturday (April 16th), along with the Edward Scissorhands 20th Anniversary tribute. The show was a a smashing success! Check out some rad interviews with the Adventure Time crew below (including yours truly). And yes it was very hot there, since there a ton of fans! (see pictures below)

ASOP Presents: Dia De Los Muertos
A quick promo piece for the Autumn Society's October show on "Dia de los Muertos."
"This October the Autumn Society brings you the festive "Dia De Los Muertos" holiday to Philadelphia, only at Proximity Gallery.
"Dia de los Muertos" (Day of the Dead), is typically a Mexican celebrated holiday, in which families bring offerings (such as food and mementos) to remember and celebrate their loved ones that have passed away. The holiday is celebrated between October 31st through November 2nd.
The show will consist of 40+ pieces of art from the Autumn Society's finest artists, each interpreting "Dia de los Muertos" in their own unique way.
So come and celebrate on First Friday, October 2nd, and don't miss out on some fantastic original artwork, music, and sugar skulls!"

Golden Age Face Series,
My small submissions for the Autumn Society's Golden Age Show. The show will feature heroes from the golden age of comics and animation, illustrated by the society's members. I've always been a huge Popeye fan since my grandfather was also a sailor. So growing up I always compared and admired both. Goofy was and still is my favorite Disney character, and Felix is just classic and one of the firsts to be animated!
