-My favorite narration and lines from "El Espinazo del Diablo"

Guillermo Del Toro is a passionate man and leader that has influenced me tremendously. As a person, with my work ethic, as a producer of different projects, and as an artist. This is my tribute to him in the "Dia de Muertos" fashion for the Autumn Society's THE ICONOCLASTIC DEAD show in Guru Gallery this Saturday, October 1st (Mexico City).

I will be flying out for the event, and am very excited to be part of our new and latest branch, Autumn Society Mexico (with German Orozco, Jorsh Pena, Rosario Ruiz, and Anita Mejia). Until we meet again and updates soon! "HASTA LA VICTORIA SIEMPRE!"

Going on an adventure!

"You'd better look out below!"

From a "wild" weekend, I was inspired and did my own tribute to Maurice Sendak's "Where the Wild things Are." I had a lot of fun with this one, especially working with a pastel palette and experimenting with different forms of shading. Hope you like! Roar!

Round 1 - Ryu (リュウ)

I've always had a soft spot for Street Fighter. Forget Primal Rage, Killer Instinct or Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter was the fighting game for me! I even loved the terrible 1994 film version when it came out. Ryu has always been one of my favorites. Can you guess the next two? Hadōken!!!

TRANSFORM!

Here's my Transformers submission for the next issue of Cereal Geek magazine!

Gears of Gore

I originally intended to release this for the 8-bit & Beyond show, but did not have enough time to finish it. I'm usually not for all the violent shoot 'em up games we have nowadays, but this game is an exception. Like Bio-shock, it has a great story, some great characters, and some amazing and creative gore.

P.S. I know the Locust's blood is not red, just using some creative license.

The Fight of the Century is here!

The fight of the century is finally here and you can check it out at the Autumn Society's Golden Age Show (of Comics & Animation), premiering today, July 3rd at Brave New Worlds Comics. Be there!

80s Sidekick Series

Growing up in the 80s I always found it that the side kick characters or mascots from cartoons were the hardest toys to find. Inspired by these hard to find characters, I decided to do a series of three that were my favorite! Here's my first from Masters of the Universe, Orko.

Here's the second one from The Real Ghostbusters, Slimer!
And here is the third and final one from Thundercats, Snarf!

PROCESS: V-DAY CARD

Hey everyone!
As some of you know, I do commercial Illustration for different companies from time to time. For the most part this type of Illustration has a super tight deadline (like 6-8 hours) to complete. So I thought I'd share the process for a promotional card I did for a design company, for Valentine's Day. This took me about 8 hours total with sketches, revisions, and prints. Enjoy!

Featured on EDGE Magazine

I recently had the pleasure to do an interview for the University of the Arts' EDGE magazine, which featured my personal work, as well as the Autumn Society in an article involving illustration. A big thank-you to Nick Agneta for the scans!

Golden Age Face Series,

My small submissions for the Autumn Society's Golden Age Show. The show will feature heroes from the golden age of comics and animation, illustrated by the society's members. I've always been a huge Popeye fan since my grandfather was also a sailor. So growing up I always compared and admired both. Goofy was and still is my favorite Disney character, and Felix is just classic and one of the firsts to be animated!
