"BINGO! DINO-DNA!" DESIGN available as a t-shirt only Today!

Hello Jurassic Park fans!

Celebrate your Jurassic Park geekiness with my my "Dino-Dna" / Jurassic Park inspired t-shirt available today (Friday, September 27th) through The Yetee (www.theyetee.com).

This design will only be available for 24 hours. All t-shirts are screen printed with top-notch materials on great quality shirts. I love working with these guys! And you can't beat the price! ($11). Kids sized shirts of this design will be available as well!

This was such a fun design and project to work on. Jurassic Park is one of my all time favorites. I totally fell into Dino mania back in the early 90s with the release of the first film (June 11th, 1993). Since this year celebrates the 20th anniversary, I decided to pay tribute through this illustration and invited some of my friends to join in on the fun at: http://dino-dna.blogspot.com/

My design is an amalgam of Joe Bazooka ads, the Barbasol embryo cryo-can (chosen & designed by Art Director John Bell (http://www.johnbellstudio.com/)) and the "Mr. DNA" animated sequence (animated by Bob Kurtz (http://kurtzanim.wordpress.com/entertainment/)).http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iMsJe3TymqY

You can watch some behind the scenes on the embryo cryo-can here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=Ix-03GHMIX4#t=1153

You can also take a closer look of a replica of the can here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgZxIcZQjwE

BINGO! DINO-DNA!

20 years ago today, the most epic dinosaur movie was unleashed to the world! Jurassic Park influenced a whole generation, including my own. To celebrate one of my favorite movies of all time I've done this illustration titled "Nedry's Dino-Dna." Hope you all dig and be sure to check out more tributes at http://dino-dna.blogspot.com/

Dino Book

These rough dinosaur designs were created for a series of dinosaur books that never went into final production. The only final that ever got fully illustrated, was the Triceratops page with no text. This was my first assignment working as a full time Illustrator at a design company right after college.
